Check before you buy. Telangana bars registration of farm plots below about 2,000 sq m (roughly 2,392 sq.yd), and agricultural land needs a Change of Land Use order before residential construction. Advertisements often say Maheshwaram because the village sits near Maheshwaram town and its postal head office is Mankhal. For any plot, confirm the revenue mandal on the Bhu Bharati portal and in the sale deed or layout proceedings.
